Sano had waiting close to 30 minutes before making his move, no man could be that focused for threat long on expecting an attack, and Masaru should be open for a strike. From directly behind Masaru, Sanosuke popped out from the mist. As he appeared, his body was in the process of transforming to his human side. To bring surprise, the scimitars existed from his flesh as they flipped around into his hands increasing his range. From each side, Sano slashed at Masaru in once quick motion.

Masaru was surprised by Sanosuke's attack, but he was still under enough concentration to turn with his sword to block the kind of attack that he believed was coming his way. However, with Sanosuke's transformation, Masaru was slightly thrown off guard. Surprising him even more were the blades coming out of his arms as full sized scimitars. Sanosuke's range was extended as both swords came at him. "What the fuck..." Masaru said as he raised his sword to block.
In a swift motion, Masaru parried Sanosuke's attack from one of his blades, but the other got a clear shot, taking a large gash into his right arm. Accepting the pain, Masaru spun around Sanosuke's body and counter with a large cutting motion at Sanosuke's back. If the attack was 100% clean, it would go clean through the Lizard man's now human flesh, and cleave him into two peices.

Masaru’s actions were quite surprising to Sano; he took the hit completely to allow himself to counter attack. It was a ballsy move, but it was also impressive. If Sano stood in shock just a moment longer, he would have lost his life. He was able to jump forward, avoiding the bulk of Masaru’s attack, but still felt his blade dig a large diagonal gash along his back. Not looking back to continue the fight, he fled from battle and this time for good. He thought he would be able to defeat Masaru with a surprise, but now all that he could do was safe his own life by fleeing.
Finding Azusa at where he believed she would be, Sanosuke was in his human form still, and covered in a lot of his own blood. He was still able to move, and talk normally but he was close to his limit, “Mistress, the battle for our troops is growing dim. We have caused the damage we needed, we should be preparing for our retreat. If the battle continues, I won’t be able to come to your aid.” Sanosuke was trying to hide his shame from Azusa, but his mind was screaming loud and clear that he was defeated by the devil hand and he had to flee.

The earth shifted after a few minutes. Kei wasn't worried, he did have some doubts about the attack though. And it gave him time to do some patch work on his legs. He was a little shaky and the water made him feel safe. He estimated that after a couple of minutes he'd have to do something to escape. But Chobi finally appeared. Because Kei really didn't have any kind of exit strategy. "I'll make it so that you don't ever have to pay for BBQ ever again if you help me kill Mors. Severe any of one of his limbs and it'll be 10 BBQ feasts" Kei grinned.
Kei blinked his eyes twice before striking behind the two. Catching a Higashi ninja's chest in his jab, then Kei kicked his foot straight into the man's chin. Sending the man into a window of someone's house that fell apart on impact. Still got it. "That bastard couldn't have gone to far" he growled. Making a few hand signs, a wave passed under his feet, he signaled for Chobi to follow. Like a surf board on the shallow parts of a beach, Kei glided across the watery parts of Higashi. Looking for Mors. Which would have to wait because a girl, using some kind of war fans slash through troops like they were made of paper.

Seeing the injury on Sanosuke she feared the worst for her fellow shinobi's. She quickly look around to see that 80% of Higashi was in ruin. Azusa pulled out three capsule pills and toss it to Sanosuke. "Sanosuke take them quickly they are coagulant pills they will help Stop Your bleeding." she summoned the three remaining kunais from hiding and began to attach a rather large ball to it. with her telekinesis power she levitated the kunais high above Higashi. With a quick twitch of her wrist it exploded giving off a blinding color of purple light signaling the Nishi shinobi to retreat before more comrades die. "Its time to go Sano." She walk up to him placing his arm around her neck to help support him. The flare was bright and loud enough to gain everyone attention that the order to retreat was given.
The smack of naginata on helmet let out a note that resounded through Croak's skull for a few seconds, keeping him too preoccupied to follow up with a second attack while Onna was vomiting all over the planks. He shook his head to clear spots that were swimming in his vision.
Croak had had enough of her blade for this fight. Though it didn't really suit him he decided to try a less close quarters approach. He pulled a handful ofkunai from a pouch in his vest and held them out in front of him. Expansion Jutsu! He growled. The throwing knives swelled to the size of short swords in his colossal fist. With a grunt he let the volley of deadly blades fly.
Onna, in massive pain, saw the throwing knives grow and had to take a step back out of shock. She dodged them, one by one, slowly regaining her composure and slowly her stomach returned to normal. As she dodged the last huge-throwing knife, she did a few hand seals and let a huge blast of lightning out of her mouth, heading straight for Croak. She figured if he wanted to play mid to long range, she could toss up too.

Miko blew on her black bangs as she saw them leaving. "Leaving already?....this is boring." She said as Miko opened her fans again, she ran to the remaining soldiers that didn't get the message of leaving. Miko threw one fan to one soldier, after the soldier fell the took out the fan from the body. Then two were coming after her so she flapped her fans like there is no tomorrow. The soldiers thought it was fun but she moved closer to the soldiers and flames blew out of the fans. Miko jumped and flew to Mors to check if he is okay.

Between his height, his helmet, and all the metal in his body Croak was practically a lightning rod. He had little chance of avoiding Onna's strike. The bolt struck him hard but the pain was invigorating.
While his body still crackled with the last of the shock he raised up his right fist and pointed his bolt studded knuckles at her. With a blast like a shotgun the bolts shot at her with insane speed.

Chobi almost giggled with excitement. "You better keep your promise," he said, anxiously, "Cuz I see him!"Chobi pointed to Mors off in the distance. As Chobi continued to run, he used his Jutsu "Gigant Arm Jutsu!" He shouted, sending all the fat to his arm, making it big enough to reach Mors. He grabbed the traitor and flung him towards them to close the distance, since he knew his time limit meant he couldn't hold on long before going bak to normal.

Onna was ready to continue fighting with Croak, but the flare went off in the sky and she knew her fight was over. Grudgingly she backed away, watching her opponent full on before slamming a smoke grenade down on the ground. As it cleared, she was gone, presumptively heading back to her home city of Nishi. To her, the attack on Higashi had been a rampant success, even if it did not have huge arrow explosions and the destruction of entire gates. The damage was done, and she was sure that Higashi had paid their debt in full.
But that wouldn't stop Nishi from attacking again, if necessary.

When the smoke cleared, which only slightly improved visibility in the fog, the woman was gone. Croak pulled himself onto the neatest roof top to watch the Nishi retreat. There was little left that he could do, especially with his injuries. He pulled out his surgery kit and grasped the little pink hand mirror in his now four fingered left hand and set to stitching his back wound closed.
He'd worry about his hand later. He didn't need all of his fingers just yet. Repairs on the village came first.

Sanosuke took the pills given to him and exited with Azusa, "Come on Chobi, its time to leave, we've been here long enough, the damage is done." He said as he walked past the others. The two limped away together warning the other Nishi ninja on their way out.
Reaching the outskirts of the village safely. Sanosuke was completely out of energy as he bady gave in and he face planted into the ground. Of course Azusa would be annoyed by him showing weakness he thought as we went down. Luckily a few other Nishi ninja picked his body up hastefully and began walking with him on their shoulders.

With the majority of the Nishi ninja leaving, Masaru quickly started to use his ice to contain and put out fire. He also used his ice to heal his wounds as he looked for injured Higashi members.
Finding Kou laying motionless on the ground, Masaru ran to him, and slapped his face a few times to try and wake up, "Come on kid get up!" Masaru screamed at him as he shook Kou's body.

Miko closed and put away her fans. "Hey wait!" She said as she ran after the giant hand plunging back into its owner. But gave up running. She ran to Masaru shaking the poor unconcious kid. "Is he okay?" Miko said as she panicked looking at both Kou and Masaru.

Kei quickly retreated after seeing the flare light up the sky, he'd discuss his deal with Chobi later. Either they lost again, or something happened to Onna or Azusa. Neither of the options he had thought seemed plausible. It could have gone worse. He had enough strength to get away. Kei's legs might have needed some stitches at the most, and his knuckles might have needed some straightening out but he was in better condition than most. And now the task of getting everyone out, accounted for back home and treated. Joy. Nothing he loved more than fighting and endless work.

On the walk back, Onna turned to look to see if the others were going to make it. She wanted to go back for some of the members they had lost, but it was clear that it would be a death trap to try and return, and to just accept that several of their men died in the battle. She looked over to Azusa who just watched Sanosuke pass out completely, "It must be nice having a body guard solely devoted to you. I mean I get my own, but they only last until they get hurt."

Kei, sighed. Poor guy. "You'd have more people devoted to you if you weren't trying to get in their pants" he said rolling his eyes while taking the weight off the other Nishi ninjas. They'd been walking for awhile now and the guys looked like they needed a break after a few hours of walking with the lizard passed out. He ordered the men to head off on their to the village and gather the wounded in one spot for him to care for later. "If you want a bodyguard that devoted, you could start by helping me and getting our leader back to the village in one piece, and I'll be sure to carry you on my shoulders whenever the urge hits you" Kei said while speeding off with Sano. Damn his legs and damn that Mors. It was starting to get dark and Kei could see the gates with dim lights. His eyes looked over his shoulders at Sano to see if the man was beginning to stir out of unconsciousness.

Kou's eyes opened wide, his light blue eyes quickly adjusting to the new light. Looking around, he felt immediate pain in his shoulder that slowly dispersed throughout his entire body. His arm was broken from something; Kou didn't remember breaking it. Sighing, he sat up, brushing his hair off with his left hand.
"Did they leave? Nishi," he asked, quite plainly. Looking around, the destruction was sort of sobering, he felt as if their first attack had caused more damage then this, and pride swelled inside of him. It was sad how he was proud of something so morbid and diseased, but it was the truth.

"Ridiculous," Chobi muttered as he followed the group, "You make me do all this work to catch the goddamn bastard, then we bail? Whatever man, you still gotta buy me some bbq," he said to Kei. He really didn't have much to say to Onna, the two were on seperate worlds. She was all about sex and lust, while he was about food, not the type of guy one would go out of their way to hit on. Oh well. He had to find out why they got pulled back anyways.

"Yea, the fight's over for now." Masaru looked over to Miko and asked, "Get him to the hospital, and look for other injured while you're at it. All we have to do now is clean up."
Masaru was quick with the other commanding officers to coordinate in repairs and restoration. Luckily a lot of damage was done, but not many lives were lost in the attack thanks to the early warnings. For now, the village was safe, and that is all that mattered.
