"Can I get a hit of that venison, thanks?"

Taking a bowl of some meat for himself, Mortis quietly indulged himself. He though his crew did a fair share of their own work and while certainly not exactly an exciting adventure of espionage is certainly a necessary job that someone has to do. Sorta like cleaners of the Honey Buckets, only much more fortunate.
"Well... Guess I'll take a hut to myself then. C'mon guys."

Taking out his case, Mortis whistled for his Skeletons, who marched back into that deep dark place they use as a "Home".

Gray stone walls, gray stone floor. Gareth lay sprawled out on a gray blanket gazing up at the gray stone ceiling. He was the only thing that added any color to the room, though his pale complexion almost matched the gray garb he wore whenever he was locked in his cell.

Life in the asylum was boring. The tiny window was barred so thoroughly that his fingers could hardly slip through the holes and the only view it provided was of the white outer wall and the short stretch of grass between wall and building. If he craned his neck he could see a streak of blue on a clear day. He was allowed to bring a single book or scroll into his room but the library's stock was dull and unlike prisoners the "patients" were not expected to be released so there weren't even books on technical subjects. But today Gareth was plenty entertained.

He extended his arm and stretched his fingers out in front of his eyes. Reddish brown stains still lingered on the long and dirty fingernails and the creases of his unwashed hands still held lines of dried blood. When he closed his eyes he could still feel the flesh tear under his nails and the warm blood pour over his hands. He could still hear the screams. Completely serene in his tiny cell Gareth smiled to himself as he drifted off into the memory of slaughtering Nishi citizens.

 Another day as a Samurai

GO NUTS!

The samurai of South City are honorary people who live near the palace of the southern city. The are allowed to go away from the palace area and dwell in the slums if the wish, but they live near the center of the city.

In this thread you are allowed to control your samurai and just enjoy your life for the time being. Nothing special has happened, thought the Samurai you are controlling either heard news of the destruction of the two ninja villages, or were part of the attack squads that turned Higashi and Nishi into ruins.

ENJOY!

Masaru laughed as he was removing the sheets from his head, he knew that he got caught and just took his slight embarrassment and tried to flip it on Azusa. "I saw everything," he whispered to her as he climb on the back wagon, "Ten out of ten by the way, very nice." finishing taunting her, he pulled out a few of the guns from the back and walked to the base of a near by tree. Using his jutsu to dig a quick hole, he buried 4 of the weapons in the dirt and covered them up for safe keeping when he was to return. "My Captain will love to have those. Of course they won't be used conventional and I'm pretty sure all 4 of them will be disassembled, but their style and such will make him very happy."

Getting back to the front of the wagon, Masaru climbed up and sat next to Azusa with a smug grin on his face. "Shall we get going?" We should be able to arrive just before nightfall. he said as he caused the wagon to begin moving.

From outside the camp came an odd noise. It creaked and clanked like metal grinding against metal. Croak came into view pulling a massive iron cart behind him. Swords, armor, kunai, arrows, and a myriad of other ninja and samurai weapons were piled high.

Croak pulled the cart up to the water's edge and jammed a club between the spokes of one of the wheels to stop it from rolling away and flopped down on the ground. Something smells good. he said as he wiped a lather of sweat off his fore head. Croak was exhausted from his effort but pleased by what he saw. There were already four wooden houses and an eight foot earthen wall surrounded three forths of the oasis already. On top of that food was already cooking. You guys did great. Rest up for tomorrow. After we get the houses and meeting hall constructed the real work will begin. Each of you should pick a house. I wont need one to night.

She felt Masarus presence behind her. She knew that the pervert would try take a peek at her. As he climb over the wagon Azusa eyes began to glow causing the sheet the covered the wagons cargo to shot up and wrap around Masaru faces. It lightly choke him causing him to fall backwards towards the ground on the opposite side of Azusa. By the time Masaru got out of the sheet Azusa was already dress in the merchant clothing. "Let move out!" She called to everyone knowing it be a few hours till they arrived at the southern city.

He could hear people talking underneath the water, he burst above the surface. Holding onto a few dozen fishes on his back. Trudging his way back to shore, "Dinner, fish and deer meat sound good?" he asked to no one in particular. Dropping his catch in front of everyone, "Um, anyone have cooking pots, or are we just doing it the old fashion way?" Kei asked while sticking a stick through one fishy and gathering some materials for a fire. It took a minute or so to get a small cooking fire going, he prepped a few fish for eating while holding out three ready to go.

"No," Kou stated, blank face. "Still your ass." He finished up his galleria of Miko's ass by giving her a pat on the shoulder, almost affirming and thanking her for allowing him to enjoy the sight of her buttocks. Walking away, he entered the wagon, not really sensing Masaru or Azusa's alarm.

Miko looked over and blushed a little "A wonder? How is that?"She questioned then she got her clothes walked to a nearest bush and got dress. Miko threw her kimono and fans over the bush, when she was out of the bush she felt refreshed for sudden reason. She still saw Kou still watching her. Miko walked up to Kou then tilted her head. "Are you still looking at my ass? Or is there something on my body thats not supposed to be there?" She questioned him politely wondering why he would still look at her.

Masaru was baffled by all the sudder information rushed into his head. The weaposn called guns were something else. THey seemed to be more powerful and also much after than arrows, but they did have the limiting weakness of needing to be reloaded which took time. A Musketeer would most likely fail in a battle against an archer, but this weapon in large numbers could be nothing short of devastating.

A bit curious, Masaru climbed up into the wagon and pulled out one of the muskets to see for himself, but as his head peered over the top of the wagon he saw the top of Azusa's head as she was removing her clothing. In a short moment of "not good judgment", Masaru rose higher from where he stood to look further over the wagon to glance at Azusa who believes she was hidden from sight. He looked over his shoulder to see that no one was in the area of them two and then went back to his peaking. His mouth slightly open as his body continues to rise giving him a better angle and a better view.

After several minutes had pass Azusa gathered the information needed to enter the village with out being caught. She finally opened her eyes Azusa had a drained look on her face since she wipe his mind as well. "Its done he will not remember anything." She look around to see everyone was changing. She wanted to look at the cargo for the information extracted from the merchant scared her slightly. She lifted cover over the first wagons as it revealed long and narrow cylinder type weapons called muskets. She saw in the merchants mind what they are capable. "Masaru these weapon should be destroyed the devastation of these weapon have no limits i fear with these types of weapon everything will be lost."

While stripping the dead merchant Masaru heard Azusa called to him. "We can't destroy them we need them to get into the city." Azusa turned her purple eye on him. "I know and if we don't deliver them by morning a samurai party will be looking for us they are expecting this shipment right away. But we are in luck the merchants we are imitating aren't well known so it will be easier to slip in without getting notice. This shipment is to be delivered to General Seiji palace we must make haste so not to alert suspicion."

"What can you tell us about these weapons?"
Azusa hesitated for a second and place her hand on his temple. "It hard to explain so ill transfer the information to you." Masaru mind began to flood with thought about the maker and construction of these weapons and images of the weapons being tested out on real people set in his mind. As soon as she broke the connection with him she notice he had clothes on his fore arm. Knowing they were meant for her. she took them from him. "Thank you." She walk behind the wagon and began to undress herself to put on the merchant clothing.

Three houses later, Sanosuke called for a large group meeting of everyone in the village, "Alright, we've been working non stop for a few hours. Let's all take a large break and have some dinner." I couldn't build another building if my life depended on it. Sanosuke looked off into the distance and called out to Kei who was responsible for food duty, "You got anything for us? We're all starving."

Masaru glanced at Onna for a moment. he looked her up and down a bit, noticing her apparel but also enjoying the slight view her got of her body. Smirking slightly from taking a peak at her cleavage Masaru added, "Nah you're fine." Going back to one of the other death Merchants, Masaru changed clothing and threw his sword on the cart looking back at the others.

Filing though some of their luggage, Masaru pulled out the documents he was looking for to find most of the passports of the merchants. "Got what we need." he called out looking back at Azusa who was still reading the man's mind.

Onna hopped off of the wagon and looked at Azusa, noticing that she busy.

"I'm not changing," Onna stated loudly, looking at a couple of different people then focusing on Masaru. 'I'm already in a dress so I won't look suspicious; these aren't ninja clothes." Quite abrupt, she immediately went back into the wagon to indicate she was not willing to negotiate her demands.

Kou was infuriated for Masaru when Azusa slapped him, and felt his sense of pride waver when Masaru just stood and took it. How dare she, he thought, but then swiftly halted his thinking about it and began to change his clothes into the merchant clothes. Casually throwing the rest of his kunais into the wagon, he looked around and waited for everybody else.

Good... good. Croak was glad to see everyone getting to work and not complaining about the menial tasks they were given. He stashed his pack under some ferns and set off at a quick pace, using his arm as a third leg.

He wasn't looking forward to getting back to the battle field. Too many friends and companions had died there. Too much blood had been spilled. And there was still likely to be samurai scouts around.

Masaru flared his nostrils at Azusa as she slapped him, but he stood his ground and kept from talking back to her. He decided it was best not to speak to her at all and turned his back to hid his shame. After regaining his composure, Masaru ordered the others, "The dead, strip their clothes and change into them, throw your weapons onto the carts and hide their bodies."

Doing as he told his own people, Masaru began to strip one of the merchants, but this one wasn't for him. As he took off the man's clothing, he folded it up nicely and walked over to the cart to place it next to Azusa. While she was reading the man's mind, he thoguht he'd get her clothes ready for her so she wouldn't have to feel so disgusted to take a dead man's clothes.

Before she could reply to him direction, Masaru had already walked away to strip another dead merchant.

She witness as Masaru troop slaughtered the weak merchants as if they were nothing, but scum. She couldn't help, but feel responsible for their deaths. "Masaru you said you weren't going to kill anyone look at this massacre. These men have family love one. We cannot just kill whom we like so that we can survive." She jump off the wagon and walk over to Masaru. She slap him across the face then walk over to the merchant. "I'm sorry that i have to do this." She place her hands on his head and began to extract the information they needed to get into the city. I.D. number, passwords, relationships.
